what size speakers are fitted in the galaxy, as when i find one i shall be wanting to put my stereo system in and ive got 6x9 rockford fosgates in the doors of my mondy , does anybody know if i will fit 6x9s in the galaxy doors or has anybody done it b4

Do a search Baz...someone managed to 'squeeze' a pair on 6x9's in the tailgate door..it was tight but they did it and I think they posted some piccies...

 

someone changed all of the door speaker for sony's and were impressed...again best to search mate..

i also put some 6x9 in tailgate

 

also sony do some nice 200w front and rear door speakers

have just bought a set of 200w sonys for the front,will be putting the ones in the front in the rear,

which are 160watts

 

will let you know how it sounds

not a lot on the 2`s

might be able to do something with spacers

 

I've got spacers on all mine as the 'Hertz' speakers I put in are too deep.

Spacers are about 10mm, but just enough to bring them off.

 

The front and middle speakers are still flush though, but the rears I put in the tailgate sit off 10mm.

 

There are pictures, just do a search on my username.

 

Oh just to add, they're all 6" and sound awesome! :unsure:

just fitted 200watt sonys in front and 160watts in the rear doors

 

plus have kenwood 350watts 6x9 in tailgate running off a 800 watt amp

 

sounds awesome
